Google OS

This sounds utter inspirational.

I'm already a loyal Chrome user for the very reasons Google seem to have confidence in their new OS: it is simple, reliable and it works. It isn't as clunky and stubborn as Internet Explorer, and it doesn't harrass me with constant downloads, plugins, and updates as Firefox does everytime I open the browser.

Honestly, I don't care if Google take over the world. Because it seems if they do something like Heaven might dawn for technology... almost every tool I use on the internet is a superior Google-version of an earlier model. And Google-OS looks to be no different:
But what sounds most wonderful of all is this:

Facebook Stalks US

The Facebook 'Suggestions' box on the homepage just suggested I add my former employer as a friend.

This is fucking scary.

I have no contacts, friends, or any other acquaintence on Facebook or anywhere else that knows this person. I looked at their profile, we have no mutual friends. I checked my profile, there was no mention of the place of my employment. How the hell does Facebook know I have a connection with them?

I often think about how much information I leave behind during the numerous hours I spend on the internet everyday: passwords, addresses, credit card numbers, phone numbers, my name, my friends names... for an intelligent person, we are all very easy targets to track down.

Facebook must have found some link external from Facebook between me and this person. This is something I simply don't want to think about. Is there some other explanation? I hope so.
