I was going to write here a short reflection on Handsome Furs, but Ryan at Music etc. sums it up perfectly. From my perspective, it was the second time I'd seen the band, and an entirely new experience.
The atmosphere was electric, but I found I couldn't become entirely engrossed in the spectacle. I always endeavour to become entirely lost in the music whenever a favourite of mine is performing live, but something was holding me back this time, and I'm not sure what it was.
None-the-less, this isn't to detract from the awesomeness of HF's show. I heartily suggest you hunt down their albums.
